Interesting cycling tour in Ugam-Chatkal National Nature Park around the Charvak mountain reservoir in the South-West Tian-Shan. Wonderful views, exotic settlements, fresh air and impressive descents on mountain roads are waiting for you.
Cycling tour from «Asia Adventures», this is always an adventure, full of events and impressions. This is an active holiday, the joy of communicating with the nature of Uzbekistan and meeting new people. The bike group is supported by an escort car. Tired cyclists can ride part of the route in a car.
Tour program
Transfer from Tashkent to the resort Avenue Park (1150m) located on the coast of the Charvak reservoir (100 km, 2 hours).
Upon arrival at Avenue Park, we unload the bikes, adjust them to each participant. The bike guide will give a short briefing on the route and basic safety measures for mountain biking.
This is one of the most beautiful and impressive weekend routes. Backpacks and other items will follow you in the car or bus. You will only have to pedal and enjoy the route.
66 kilometers per day is an average distance that even a beginner can manage, having managed to take pictures of the surrounding area and admire nature on the way.
Our route runs along the coast of the Charvak mountain reservoir, crosses the bridges of the Chatkal, Koksu and Pskem rivers to the village of Nanai. Next, climb through the village of Sidjak, photo session at the top observation point of the route above the reservoir. Throughout the route, you can enjoy extensive panoramas of the water surface of Charvak, surrounded by mountains. Picnic lunch (lunch boxes and hot tea / coffee on the route). The highlight at the end of the bike ride is a spectacular descent to the town of Charvak (- 510m of continuous descent on a good asphalt road). Transfer to Tashkent (80 km, 1.5 hours).
