An unforgettable one-day excursion around Samarkand awaits you - one of the oldest cities in the world, the same age as Rome, Athens and Babylon. In the Middle Ages it was the center of the powerful empire of Tamerlane. The world's best paper and excellent velvet, colored glass and silk were produced here. Today it is the second largest city in Uzbekistan with a population of more than 600 thousand inhabitants.
