The excursion is individual.
An unforgettable one-day walk in the Pskem valley to unique mountain lakes, called “jade” by tourists because of the color of the water. The jade lakes Urungach are located 160 km from Tashkent, in the Ugam-Chatkal National Park. Historically, the upper lake was formed due to a rock collapse, resulting in the formation of a natural dam. And the lower lake is distinguished by the ideal purity of its water, which passes through a natural underground sand and gravel filter. The color of the water in it is turquoise, and really resembles noble jade. Those who wish can swim in the cold but crystal clear water of the lakes. Depending on the season, the water temperature in the lakes varies from 3°C (April-May) to 8°C (July-August).
The active part of the route can be divided into two stages: a smooth climb to the small, lower lake, and a steeper climb to the upper lake. The Upper Lake has a unique flavor; it is good to meditate here, contemplating the calm water surface surrounded by harsh rocky peaks crowned with snow caps.
For hikers and simply physically healthy people, climbing both lakes will not be difficult. Such a walk is a great opportunity to add positivity, bright emotions and unforgettable impressions to your life. The active part of the tour takes 3-4 hours. 11-12 hours including travel.
Each participant must have: a 20-25 liter backpack, warm clothes, comfortable trekking shoes, waterproof and windproof outerwear, protective cream, sunglasses, a hat (Panama hat, cap, hat).
Tourists must have a passport with them.
